Coast Alive! instructors will introduce teachers to scientists, conservationists, and State Park staff who are strong stewards for the environment, so that they can directly communicate to students the need for conservation and restoration of fragile California habitats. In addition, there may be opportunities for students to participate in stewardship activities, such as habitat restoration, removal of nonnative invasive plants, erosion control, and cleanups.
