These institutes offer six days of coursework in order to promote mastery of concept. Curriculum is focused on science concepts but includes math, Language Arts, and social sciences. Teachers in all subject areas are encouraged to apply.

Housing and meals will be provided at no cost to the participant. All participants will stay at the Jack L. Boyd Outdoor School located in Green Meadows a few miles outside of Yosemite National Park. Meals for the two weekends will include dinner on Friday, three meals on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

The registration fee is $75.00. Registration has begun and applications are due by May 29, 2009 (for Climate Change & Field Investigations) or June 29, 2009 (Watershed Dynamics & Journaling).

Registration is closed for the Climate Change institute in June. Spaces are filling quickly for the Watershed institute in July so apply today!
