Coast Alive! is excited to partner with Save The Bay to bring this bonus day of stewardship and restoration to our Coast Alive! Teacher Institute participants. Join us for an 'on the water' field day to experience first-hand the ecology of the San Francisco Bay. We will explore the beautiful bay in canoes as part of a Save The Bay program that will include field studies such as water quality testing and wildlife investigations. We will also explore on land and get an introduction to restoration of shoreline habitats.

This class is designed exclusively for upcoming and previous participants in the Coast Alive! Institutes. One quarter unit of credit is available through CSUEB Extension (Course # 17056). The last day to register for this field day is July 7th, 2008.
